Welcome to our free, interactive Neonatal and Pediatric Advocacy and Educational Workshop Series for Fathers, part of our signature initiative, the S.A.B.R.E.E. Innovation and Resilience Early Childhood Initiative (SIRECI), housed within S.A.B.R.E.E. Enrichment Academy, Inc. This workshop series is being thoughtfully developed and presented through our nonprofit website as an extension of our unwavering commitment to maternal, infant, and family well-being.
We are truly honored and deeply grateful to steward this work with intention, diligence, and care, in loving honor of my beloved son, Sabree Marquis Daniel, and his cherished stepmother, Mrs. Renay Daniel. Their legacy continues to guide the heart and purpose of S.A.B.R.E.E., compelling us to address the systems, experiences, and inequities that shape the earliest stages of life and learning.
As I have articulated in my book, From the Womb to the Classroom: How Maternal and Infant Health Disparities Shape Educational Outcomes for Marginalized Youth, the journey of motherhood, particularly for women navigating inequity, medical complexity, or trauma, has profound and lasting implications far beyond pregnancy and birth. In alignment with this work, I authored the Fathers Matter book and its companion workbook to provide education, validation, and practical tools for healing-centered maternal empowerment. In parallel, I have written Mothers Matter, Too and its companion workbook, and I am excited to expand this body of work through the development of the Fathers Matter, Too Workshop Series in the near future.
Together, these offerings reflect a holistic, family-centered approach rooted in resilience, advocacy, and the belief that when we support parents, beginning before birth, we strengthen children, families, and communities for generations to come.
NOTE: To navigate the weekly workshop, simply click the forward arrow to advance through each slide. You may select the back arrow at any time to revisit or review previous content. You may also find it helpful to keep a journal or notebook nearby to reflect on and respond to the guided prompts provided throughout the experience, for your own personal growth and edification.
In addition, This interactive workshop is thoughtfully designed as a nine-week journey of reflection, growth, and renewal. You are encouraged to move at a pace that feels right for you: slowly, intentionally, or more swiftly as your season allows. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to experience this workshop. Its purpose is to edify, strengthen, and support you as the participant. Upon completion of the full nine-week journey, you may request a Certificate of Completion if you wish. To do so, please email me directly at [email protected].
If you have any questions, comments, or are in need of resources, please email me as well. While I do not anticipate having all the answers, I do believe we may be able to locate them, together.
Above all, take a moment to relax, breathe, and be present. Allow yourself to fully engage with each weekly interactive workshop. Please know this: you are important, you are valued, and you, your health, your well-being, your children, and their bright futures matter tremendously to me.
Much love,
Dr. Sonji Fatima (Daniel) Harold
